Darts in hypocotyl cells
Confocal reconstructions of the cable structures found in EGAD line 160698F. Propidium iodide was used to counter stain the cell wall in the middle image. These cable structures slowly dis-assemble during the first days of germination. By three days post germination, GFP fluorescence is found predominantly in amporphous and intensely bright inclusion bodies, and only few cable like structures are evident.
